ZigSense Wireless Sensing Technology

ZigSense is a line of wireless sensors, routers and gateways that utilize ZigBee wireless mesh network technology as its core communication channel. Power by DC source ZigSense wireless sensing nodes are designed to consume very little power. A ZigSense wireless node may combine one or more sensing, counting and controlling tasks.

Data from remote sensors is sent encrypted (128 bits) over the wireless network towards ZigSense gateway base station. The gateway ‘maps’ the sensors data into Modbus Holding Registers. The gateway enables external monitoring and control systems such as PLC, SCADA, HMI and Data Loggers to interface with the ZigSense wireless network through Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP communication protocol. ZigSense data may also be made available to a “cloud” based web server.
